Room was incredible, service fantastic and friendly. Was lucky to get on of the three best rooms in the whole place. Slight warning to those less mobile, there are a few unavoidable flights of stairs.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is very well located, not in Oberstdorf but a little bit away from the touristy places. The room was big and clean and the food was good although I was disappointed it was a buffet. The downsides: our shower did not work properly and we had to ask the front desk two times to have a look at it before something was done. Also, the hotel is very big and the sauna area is very small to accommodate so many people. I had a nice stay but I would not return.

Very well located just outside of town and surrounded by forests. The room was large and clean, but we were on the back of the main building where the is no balcony or view. The beds were comfortable as well. The service is very friendly, but it took 2 inquiries to get our shower fixed. Some of the staff speaks English, but not many so get ready to pull out your German skills. The spa area is nice, but it's much too small for the number of guests and while we were there it was filled with noisy kids, so not terribly relaxing. The food was delicious but it is buffet style with limited options. I was expecting a served meal when reading the description while booking. Lastly, the free wifi is quite horrible, I barely could maintain a connection to read my emails (the hotel was packed so that probably didn't help).
